Our Little Salesman

I was sitting at the computer earlier and my housekeeper asked if she could borrow a dollar.  I gave her one and then followed to see what she was up to.  Well, this is what I found:

Kenedy set up shop on the back patio with various snacks and drinks.  She said everything was $1 and that we should all buy something.  So we gathered up some change and did what she said!

We got our goodies and went back inside.  She sat out there for another 15 minutes or so.  Why, I'm not sure... maybe she thought we'd come back for more.  Anyway, we heard her in the kitchen later and asked what she was doing.  She said she was cleaning up her "sale."  She then showed us how much money she made and wanted her piggy bank.  I said, "Wow, that's alot of money."  She said, "I know.  And I'm going to waste it all at Disney World!"

GO HAWKS ! ! !

Kenedy went to a little Cheer Clinic at the High School this afternoon and then got to cheer at the Football Game.  She was so adorable!  She said that she can't wait to cheer for Hudson when he's old enough to play!

My little pumpkin is 6 WEEKS OLD today! How can that be?! My, how time flies when you're having fun!

Hudson's First Zoo Tour

We (Mom, Dad, Kristi and Myself) took the kids to the San Antonio Zoo this afternoon.  It was packed and hotter than I thought it would be, but we had a blast!  We had to strip Hudson down to his onesie not long after we got there, poor baby!  I didn't get many pictures because my camera is trying to kick the bucket, but here are a few.

A Day at the Fair

Well, I ventured out with the three kiddos today by myself for the first time.  And of all places, we decided to make our first outing to the Comal County Fair.  I was a bit nervous about this but the girls were so excited that I definitely couldn't back out!  We got up early so that we could be in New Braunfels, park, and find a spot on the side of the road in time for the parade.  We ended up in the sun, which proved to be warmer than expected, but we had fun watching the floats go by.  This was the longest parade in the history of parades, so we only made it an hour before we were all sweating and hungry, so we left early.  (This was a good idea, because I later heard that it lasted THREE hours!  Yikes!)  We then went to the fair where we went through the Petting Zoo, held baby chicks, rode Carnival rides, and looked at the many exhibits.  I warned the girls before we got out of the car that I had to stay with Hudson, so if they didn't stay with me, they'd end up going home with someone else.  To my surprise, they stayed with me the entire time and we had a blast!  They proved to me that I could handle being a Mom of Three (thank goodness), and I am so proud of my sweet little children.  Here are some pictures from our memorable day!

After we got back to Spring Branch, we were eating supper at Subway, and Kenedy leaned over and said, "Hadyn, wasn't it such a good day."  I'd definitely have to agree!

And I think Hudson had fun, too!  Just look at the excitement on his face!

Twins for a Day

Kenedy had to dress like a "friend" today for "Twin Day" at her school.  She found the dresses, bows, and told me to curl her hair alot so that it looked like the doll's.  I think she did a good job matching her doll, but of course, she's much cuter!

Meet "April"

We surprised the girls with a new horse yesterday.  They are so excited!  Kenedy's first statement was, "Let's go rope!"  She gave April a spin today in the arena with PawPaw.  She did so good and was so proud.  Her poor little legs don't reach past the saddle blanket, so it's hard to keep April going.  But, of course, we think that's a good thing!  Kenedy says she's ready to go get the cattle!  (I added a clip from today in the Video Section.)  You can click on these photos to see a larger, clearer picture.
