Are We Cool or What?

Ok... don't answer that!!!  Here's the story behind the picture:  John and I try to go on a "date" once a week, thanks to our wonderful babysitter.  Thanks, Lyndsi!  We usually end up at the movies.  It's dark so no need to dress up; they have popcorn; they have butter for that popcorn; you get the idea.  Well, this week I decided to change it up a bit.  I booked us a tour of downtown S.A. on Segways!  I've always wanted to try these things out and thought this would be the perfect opportunity.  There were only four of us on the tour and we had a hilarious tour guide!  He trained us for about 15 minutes in the store, which I didn't think was enough time.  I thought for sure one of us would end up in the water on the RiverWalk!  But he assured us that we'd get the hang of it very quickly.  It was so wierd at first, and very hard to control, but he was right.  It didn't take long at all before we were wanting to take off on our own.  (See John's video below.) For two hours we strolled the streets of downtown, learned a lot of S.A. history along the way, and got some very funny looks from passing pedestrians.  (I can't see why?!)  When it was over, I tried to convince John to buy us a couple of them, but that didn't happen.  I guess I'll put it in my letter for Santa!

All kidding aside, we had an absolute blast!  We laughed the whole time and actually learned alot of interesting things about San Antonio.  A few of those things would also make fun dates!  We highly recommend this to everyone!!!  Really!
