Well, we're back from the slopes of the Taos Ski Valley! It was a blast and the skiing was great! We woke up Tuesday to falling snow and 15-degree weather. It was beautiful, but absolutely freezing... well, for me anyway. No one else seemed to mind it too much. The other days were sunny and perfect! The girls went to ski school, Hadyn for one and a half days and Kenedy for three. Hadyn just isn't as excited as Kenedy about skiing... yet. We're not giving up on her that easy! Kenedy is a natural and skis like a pro. Her only problem is that she's fearless! We're constantly telling her to slow down! She skis the greens and blues, but says she's ready for the double blacks! (Maybe next year.)
I have to give a shout out to our beloved babysitter, Lyndsi, and her sister, LeAnn, who accompanied us to Taos so that John and I could actually consider it a vacation! T H A N K Y O U ! ! !
Here are some pictures from our trip. I'm going to put a "Taos" album in the right hand column the next time I have about an hour to sit at the computer. (Hopefully before our next ski trip.)
