And here are the girls at the same place at one year (excuse my flash, these are on my wall):
Kenedy
Hadyn
I still can't believe my little Hudson is ONE! He keeps us on our toes on a daily basis. Although, he's the sweetest, most loving little boy ever! And sadly for him, I've started calling him "Lovey." I'm not sure how that happened, but the girls will even say, "Mommy, here comes your Lovey." Yes, a little weird, but he's Lovey for now. John calls him "Little Houdini." He gets into everything and can get out of anything! He even crawled out of his crib once, opened his door, and escaped. Lyndsi found him in the hallway and he giggled when she saw him. He goes to bed around 8 and sleeps until 8 and takes two naps during the day. I've never put anything in his mouth that he doesn't like! He'll eat anything. I've recently discovered that he absolutely loves mini-marshmallows. I know, what baby wouldn't?! He loves to dance! He can't hear music of any kind without stopping to dance! He is in the 75th percentile on his weight, height, and head circumference. He's trying to talk all the time now, and sometimes surprises us! Here's an amazing video from the other morning:
He's also walking everywhere! The girls aggravate him because they still try to pick him up and tote him around. This morning we went out to play in the rain. I'm not sure he's even seen rain before. I hope he sees alot of it in the near future!
The other evening, we were all sitting out on the patio playing. John and I came inside for something, and a few minutes later, we heard loud music outside. Kenedy and Hadyn love to dance to rock, or in this case, heavy metal, with bad language that I didn't notice until watching the video. I know, Bad Mom, but I don't think they were listening to the words, anyway!
We're just so in love with this little boy! I don't know what we'd be doing without him, but I know it wouldn't be quite as much fun! Here are some sweet pictures of our day to day life with the little man.
Unfortunately, most of the time, Hudson has a nice little red bump on his head. I think that will be his trademark for the next year or so.
What a cutie!!! I wish we were closer so our boys could play. Garrett isn't walking, so maybe Hudson could give him some pointers. Great videos..."I like it".
