FIVE Months

I actually had to check to make sure this was right!  It seems like last week when I was writing under a post titled, "FOUR MONTHS OLD!"  Alot has changed since then.  Hudson's weighing over 19 pounds.  He's eating jar veggies, starting to sit up, "talking" non-stop, and laughing all the time!  He has quite the personality and we're loving it!  We're all still obsessed with him... the newness has not worn off one bit!

On another note, Hadyn somehow came down with Mono.  We have no idea how, but it was terrible!  Our poor little baby had fevers between 102 and 104.5 for almost two weeks!  We had to wake her up every two hours during the night to check her fever and force her medicine down.  (Quick Funny Story:  We were watching TV on the couch and Hadyn fell asleep.  She'd been snoozing for about an hour and a half when she woke up.  She said, "I'm sleepy, can I take a nap on the couch?"  I said, "Of course you can."  And she closed her eyes and went back to sleep.)  Her fever kept her asleep for practically two weeks.  She's finally feeling better, still a little pooped out, but no fever so far this week.  This household has been sick more in these last few months than we've been in the last five years!  We're going to pretend our fresh start in the New Year begins next month!

A New Weakly Boy!!!

Dan, Emilee and Big Brothers, Cooper and Carson welcomed their new baby boy, Cade McGill Weakly, yesterday evening.  He weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces, and is 20.5 inches long!  He is so adorable and it looks like his Big Brothers are extremely proud of him!  We are so anxious to meet the little guy!

It's Almost Baby Day!!!

Kristi is now 30 weeks pregnant with her twin girls!  Only eight more weeks (at the most) before Alex Christine and Avery Celeste will make their debut!  And we just can't wait to meet them!  We hosted a Baby Shower for her yesterday and it was so much fun!  There were almost 50 people there and she received a TON of wonderful gifts and the absolute cutest twin things!  Here are some pictures from our exciting day!

We threw the nursery together in the last week before the shower!  It was tiring, but turned out so cute!  The girls are so spoiled already!

FOUR MONTHS OLD

This post is a little late, as Hudson turned four months old on December 29th.  BUT - If you read my last post, I guess I have an acceptable excuse!  :)

Hudson is above the 90th percentile on everything, weight, height, head circumference, etc.  He weighed 16 pounds, 9 ounces at his four month Dr. visit.  He has learned to turn over now!  He has never liked to be on his tummy, and now that he can turn over, he has a choice!  I'm thinking he might be a late crawler, because he won't stay on his tummy long enough to even think about getting up on all fours!  He laughs all the time now and loves attention!  The colic is starting to fade, THANK GOODNESS, and he is extremely laid-back.  That is a completely new characteristic in this household!  I hope he holds on to that one!

We are loving every minute with our little infant knowing that he'll be a toddler before we know it!

Everyone has been saying how much he looks like Hadyn, but look at these pictures of him and Kenedy both at four months old.  I think they look like twins!
